Tried to make a donation just after they closed. Thought you can leave your donation outside. They have signs saying people will be prosecuted for stealing donations that are outside... which made us think we can therefore leave it just outside the shop. A lady came out telling us we are illegally dumping and to come back another time. You won't see us again. We tried doing the right thing, isn't it your job to go through donations and judge what can be reused? Completely disgused with the staff and treatment.
The store was well organised and tidy, the selection was fantastic and honestly the prices were extremely fair and affordable. I got a top and dress for work and two books for $17. So glad I went in!
Prices are more expensive than any other local salvos and selling broken stock and damaged clothes is not a good or fair thing. Bought some sandals and when I got home they were split across the sole, unwearable! And the staff would have seen as they put the price on the sole.
-Large
-Mostly good prices
-Friendly staff / volunteers
-Some items are a bit grubby
I worked and went as a custome in both capacities in the South side of Perth.
And became disappointed. The prices went up yet the quality of their stock was well below par.
I vowed never to return to any one of them. Plus the important fact that the Salvos store present itself as being part of the acto Salvation army... it's not... everything you donate is 100% for profit as any other store. 'If you want or are in desperation and get a voucher for the Salvos which the Church has to pay for out of their own funds, Until I went with a few of friends.
Joondalup was fairly clean and the prices well below store prices
Oclear and visible.
The clothing was well above standard, their brick a brack not as good but their furniture well above any secondhand rubbish. The furniture is what makes me take the train back and forth from Rockingham. I was amazed not just the quality but more importantly prices.
I would be a weekly or fortnightly customer. Thank you Joondalup you once again for a pleasant experience...(and restoring my enthusiasm for bargain hunting.💐
Ordered an item online from SS Joondalup. Can I say, the level of customer service I received from the store (namely Lily) was absolutely fantastic. Auspost had forgotten to scan the item in, and Lily went above and beyond to try and rectify the problem. The item arrived safely today, and I couldn't recommend shopping at Joondalup's online store any more. Thank you!!
I am actually so incredibly appalled with the service tonight. I go here all the time and love this store, it has always been amazing. It is a 41° day today and they decide to turn the lights off and the air con off at 5.15pm when they don't close till 5.30pm. I am absolutely shocked at the service we received. And leading up to that the guy kept saying "blah minutes till closing" and after checking my phone it would be 10 minutes prior to each time he spoke into the speaker 😂😂😂
Another guy was told he should have come earlier!! (This was 5.26pm, 4 minutes till closing) 😤🤬🤬 and the 2 ladies on the till were so rude about it. I am actually so annoyed right now
Overpriced rubbish. Purchased some toys for my little girl here today, when I got home and unwrapped them (they were sticky taped to keep them together, or more likely to hide the broken parts) I found that every single toy was badly broken or damaged in some way. The prices were not cheap either. In fact, I saw a huge amount of damaged items in store with high prices. Very disappointed. I would not have purchased if I knew that they were broken. I like to shop at Salvos to find things that are unique and to support the cause but selling rubbish is completely unacceptable.
